The aim of the project GENDER AND THE LEFT was the emancipation through education and open space for critical thinking and questioning works of social movements with special attention given to feminism in the former Yugoslavia. The topic of gender and the left was neglected and painted with a lot of prejudices, so therefore is a challenge, inspiration and hopefully interesting stimulus for all activists, students, researchers and for all those who deal with alternative politics. Our lectures are created so that after the theoretical introduction to the specific topic, there is always space for discussion and debate, and everyone is welcome.

Women INDOK Training Center is working with achieving women equality in the public sphere, focusing primarily on the media. With critical content analysis, research and education, communicating between the media and their users, aiming to reduce misogynistic and stereotypical contents.
